Protocol Actions
  1. Load Data:
    The dataset containing the ratification status of nuclear weapons treaties (PTBT, NPT, TPNW) is loaded.
  2. Data Processing:
    The data is reshaped into a time-series format (1960–2026), counting the cumulative number of countries that have ratified each treaty per year.
  3. Visualization Layout:
    A multi-line chart is created using Plotly. The "Year" is mapped to the x-axis, and the "Number of Countries" is mapped to the y-axis.
  4. Annotations:
    Vertical dashed lines are added to the chart to mark specific historical years when key treaties entered into force (e.g., 1963 for PTBT, 1970 for NPT).
